Rusty Shackleford Agrees These 25 Incredible "King Of The Hill" Moments Still Hold Their Own 25 Years Later

1 year ago 53

It's been 25 years since we dropped into the Hill's home and saw how they do it in Arlen, Texas.

It's hard to believe it's been 25 years since we were first introduced to the Hill family of Arlen, Texas.

King of the Hill premiered on January 12, 1997. The show followed Hank Hill, salesman of propane and propane accessories; wife Peggy, a substitute teacher with unflappable self-esteem; and Bobby, a tween boy who is nothing like either of his parents.

Then we meet Hank's other family, the guys from the alley.

The relationship between Hank, Dale, Boomhauer, and Bill is a bromance as great as any. Four completely different men bond over their shared street, their career and relationship woes, the nonsense that everyday life throws their way, and of course, beer.

The show ended back in 2010, but thanks to streaming and memeing, it's only gotten more popular.
